Seminar: How to Say Anything to Anyone and Have it Strengthen the RelationshipThis seminar is specifically designed for attorneys. It provides the tools people need to handle effectively those truly challenging interpersonal workplace communications. If unresolved, such issues tend to lead to resentment and upset which detract from an attorney’s productivity, effectiveness and job satisfaction – and which often contribute to a decision to leave the firm. Most communications programs categorize people into personality or behavior types and then teach how to manage communications based on people's differences. This seminar, in contrast, focuses on our shared humanity and thereby creates a paradigm shift that makes it possible to communicate authentically and effectively with anyone: staff, client, partner, manager, judge or apposing counsel. The same techniques also apply to personal conversations with loved ones. This three hour seminar is for a maximum of 10 people and will be followed up with one coaching session per person to allow participants to practice the techniques from the seminar on issues that they might not feel comfortable addressing in a group setting. The seminar will conclude with a one hour session to share results and address any issues that may have come up when putting the new communications tools into practice.
